Positive: Gianni, Martina, and Srđan were all kind and welcoming! They were very hospitable, offered to share every meal with us, and that speaks volumes even before mentioning that Gianni is an excellent chef and gourmand, and Martina even spoiled us with homemade cheesecake. Their adorable dog Rio adds to the charm of the place. On top of that, they gave us fantastic recommendations on what to see and do on the island. We really appreciated the personal touch, like being offered a small boat trip to explore remote beaches. The atmosphere is very relaxed and social, with local boys coming over in the evening for a game of PES and some hanging out — perfectly fitting the “hostel vibe” Gianni is very proud of, which is great for travelers looking for that kind of energy. Hygiene in the bathroom was impeccable — everything was spotless throughout our stay! The beach is very close and absolutely stunning — truly the highlight of the trip! Water was just the right temperature, crystal clear, and the place was never overcrowded (most of the times quite the opposite). Parking was easy, free, and always available right nearby. Altogether, we would love to come again!

Negative: Things to keep in mind: The shared kitchen is on a smaller side, and with one fridge for the floor, space can be limited — we brought a LOT of fresh groceries and other supplies from the mainland since there are no markets in the village, and it was a tight squeeze even with keeping a good portion of it in our room. Another shared fridge or small in-room fridge would be a great future addition! Tap water isn't for consumption, and though drinking water is provided in canisters in the shared space, next time we would probably buy a couple of jugs to have handy in the room and make things easier. Room storage is rather minimal and with two larger suitcases, some food, and our beach gear it was a bit tight. Extra shelves or hooks would go a long way!
