Summary: The curtains are not blackout curtains and the light on the balcony doesn't turn off. The smoke alarm has a light that flashes every 23 seconds. The light in the closet didn't turn off (so there's a vertical stripe of light that seeps out). Overall, there was a lot of "visual noise" that made it difficult to sleep. The room was too hot and there was no way to lower the temperature. The pillows were those loose, lumpy ones that constantly need scrunching up. The minibar is not a minibar, it's a small fridge (this didn't bother us, but just thought it should be pointed out). The breakfast buffet isn't offered every morning. We checked in around 5pm and they weren't sure whether the buffet would be offered the next morning. We were told that the restaurant would still have "a la carte" items though. We stayed in 2 hotels and 3 guesthouses during our time in Croatia and we found all 3 guesthouses to be much more comfortable.
