Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The cottage is very nice, and the location is beautiful and peaceful. The owners' parents were very kind.

Negative: We arrived in the evening, very tired after a whole day of riding on motorcycles. The host asked if we wanted something to drink or eat. We thought it was like a welcoming gesture because it's a common welcoming custom in the Balkans. The host brought some cheese, prsut, and rakija and sat/ate/drank with us. When we were leaving, he gave us the receipt where he charged us 28€ for that plate. First of all, it's not about the money but the principle. On the whole trip through the Balkans ( 4 weeks ), we were offered welcoming drinks and meals many times, but it was a true welcoming gesture and act of kindness, not for profit. Not a single host charged for that. If we were told right away that we are going to be charged for the meal and rakija, and how much it would cost, we would say no thanks. I think it's not honest, and because of that, the score is lower, and I won't return to such a place.
