Positive: The place is HUGE. A beautiful kitchen, living room and two large bedrooms. The bathrooms were also adequate. The drying rack for clothes on the balcony was a bonus. They paid for our parking in the public lot that was across the street. The hosts were very nice. While my "what I didn't like" is long, that length is just to provide context for this relatively new apartment. We enjoyed our stay and the place was very nice. There were just a few pain points along the way.
Negative: Getting the key was a bit of a pain. We arrived late, hot, and tired and had to go to a different building to get the key, then go back to our car to get our luggage, then get to our building. That was their suggestion. Bringing theluggage to the first building wouldn't have been out of the way since one of us could watch it while the other went inside to get the key. The whole process took longer than ideal. They rpovided videos on where we had to go, which was helpful, but having never been, ti was confusing. We asked for specific photos and addresses and that made all of the difference. The AC was an issue. The directions provided weren't correct so they came over to reset it. In 3 days, the apartment cooled only 3 degrees though we set it much colder. It never got there. Therere was a powerful fan that helped, but not in the bedrooms So we had to keep the bedroom doors open and the fan running even when we weren't there. We suggested that they have a more reasonable temperature set during the summer a day before new guests arrive so the temp is already comfortable. We couldn't even see where air would go into the bedrooms directly so the controls in those rooms were rather pointless. We were asked to separate trash into 6 categories, but there were only 3 bins in the apartment, making that task virtually impossible. We did the best we could.
Summary: New apartment, HUGE, and nice location - with just a few areas for improvement for this new rental.
