The reasons for this are obvious - the listed, completely renovated villa combines the finest traditional features typical of the country, such as stone walls with absolutely luxurious furnishings and purist design. In a wonderfully careful renovation, the owner has succeeded in creating the perfect symbiosis between tradition and modernity, resulting in this Mediterranean maritime luxury villa. On the other hand the villa convinces by its absolutely phenomenal location directly in the harbour area of a picturesque fishing village. The rooms do not only offer a great sea view, but the feeling of life during a stay in this fantastic property can be described as "authentic, central and dreamlike". Can there be anything more beautiful than waking up in the morning, standing with a cup of coffee at the double-winged door of the kitchen-living room and looking at the harbour and the small fishing boats? It is this naturalness and modesty that will give you a slightly different holiday far away from mass tourism.
The 18 x 4.5 km large island of Šolta is characterised by a natural attitude to life. Declared a nature reserve by UNESCO, there are only a few places and roads here. The simple beauty of the island can be found in the numerous bays, for example the fjord-like bay of Nečujam, which is only a few minutes drive from Rogač. The mountain walls fall almost vertically into the crystal clear water (the calm water is ideal for swimming, by the way). The arms of the fjord can be navigated by boat and anchoring is allowed everywhere. If you don't have a boat available, you can walk from viewpoint to viewpoint on the high plateau and enjoy the breathtaking view of nature. As a tourist you will not be courted on Šolta, but you will experience with the islanders a wonderful authenticity and a way of life brought to the essential point. You can spend a convivial evening with original Dalmatian cuisine in a konoba - ideal if you want to spend a pleasurable holiday in a relaxing ambience away from the mainstream.
A few details about the really dreamlike beautiful and luxurious equipment of the listed villa. The living space is generously divided into 3 floors. On the ground floor there is a state-of-the-art kitchen with an open dining area. The color combination of the kitchen in white with earth colors is extremely successful and fits perfectly to the old visible brickwork and the modern design of the furniture like the colored bar stools at the modern cooking island or the atypical chandelier in wire optics. The full equipment offers the accustomed comfort: ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, pots, pans, complete dining and breakfast service, cutlery for 10 persons, espresso machine with capsule system. On the same level is the small wellness area consisting of fitness room, sauna and separate shower area. An open gallery leads to the living area on the upper floor. The dark wooden floor harmonises perfectly with the quarrystone masonry, so the puristic design of the grey furniture is particularly effective. The TV lounge is waiting for us at Chillig. The Master Bedroom with air conditioning and en-suite luxury bathroom offers a super sea view. The remaining 4 air-conditioned and no less well equipped double rooms share two comfortably equipped bathrooms. Some of the bedrooms have balconies with a great view of the harbour. After the wellness you can refresh yourself in the private pool of the house, which is surrounded by a sun terrace with comfortable deckchairs. The pool is protected by high trees. In the Mediterranean courtyard of the villa there is a traditional grill for a relaxed BBQ for the whole group.
