Casa Amarillo is a self catering, holiday duplex (two storey) apartment on the second and third floors of a detached villa with stunning views out over the Bay of Kotor to the Adriatic Sea. Situated beneath the sunny slopes of Mt Orjen it is approx 10 minutes by car to Topla, Igalo, and the citadel town of Herceg Novi with shops, banks, a marina, and many, many restaurants with both local and international cuisines. Beaches, and all water sports are available along the 7Km promenade Danica.
The apartment has been refreshed and looking great for the holiday rental market for summer 2022. There is private parking for two cars, or three depending on size. A private garden for alfresco dining with built in BBQ and open views to the Adriatic Sea. The garden is fenced and safe for children.
The apartment is approximately 20 minutes from the Croatia/Montenegro border crossings (however in summer months this can take longer because of the volume of traffic) so arriving at Dubrovnik airport is very easy with flights from the UK and European cities arriving daily. There is also an airport at Tivat. A car is really necessary for guests to get back and forth to the beaches and towns of Herceg Novi, Igalo and Topla. Although it is only 10 minutes by car it would be an uphill walk to the apartment, which guests may find too much in the heat of the summer. Both the private parking and garden to the apartment are to the back and side of the villa.
The nearest supermarket and shops are in the village of Topla which is less than a km downhill. Strongly suggest to all guests to have a car.
Places of interest around and about include the walled towns of Herceg Novi, Perast (20km) and Kotor (1 hour) as well as beaches and the mountains Orjen & Lovcen are both over 5,000ft. Lake Skadar is a paradise for bird watchers. The renowned Igalo Spa and Health Centre which is only 5 minutes or so by car from Casa Amarillo is the largest and best-known institution for multidisciplinary and European Spa treatment in the Mediterranean. The Spa specialises in preventative and physical medicine, rehabilitation, wellness, fitness & sport, massage, facials, hydrotherapy, thermal waters, and mud applications. The coastal resorts of Topla and Igalo are lined with restaurants and shops and are adjoined to Herceg Novi along the 7km promenade, Pet Danica. There is also a very lovely Marina where boat trips can be arranged and all water sports catered for.
