Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: A quaint guesthouse that has a rustic, charming feel with the wooden interiors. The location is peaceful and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was nice, but paid extra.

Negative: The description says there is a restaurant and bar, however when I arrived (around 7pm) there was nothing on offer for dinner. I had to drive 15 minutes back to the town, down poor roads, to get some food. No tea or coffee making facilities or even a kettle or microwave in the common area to make noodles. I also didn't get the room I paid for, and was instead downgraded so I should have been charged less (I paid for the attic room with the view). However, there was a private bathroom, so I didn't complain. The curtains didn't cover the window, so the lights outside kept the room bright, and the sun came in in the early morning. The radiator was very loud and woke me up each time the water flushed through.

Summary: Nice guesthouse, but eat before you arrive!
