Villa Benvenuti is a luxury villa situated in the heart ofIstria, in a small Istrian village Kaldir, 4 km from Motovun.
The Villa is property of the Benvenuti family, well-known inCroatia and the regionfor wine production.
The Villa has been completely renovated in 2014, and it offers a recognizable mix of modern and traditional style.
The fenced plot of 400 m² surrounds a house of 200 m², providing accommodation for eight persons, includes an outdoor swimming pool of 35 m², a covered terrace with a table and eight chairs, one indoor and one outdoor fireplace and a big garden with irrigation and private parking place.
The ground floor consists of a completely equipped kitchen, a dining room with a table for eight persons and a living room with a traditional Istrian fireplace surrounded by a couch and sofa.
The house has a winter garden with wooden armchairs and an exit to the garden, terrace and to the outdoor swimming pool. The ground floor contains also a laundry room, a separate bathroom and one double bedroom with bathroom which includes a special massage bathtub.
On the first floor, there are two double bedrooms with modern designed bathrooms. One of the bedrooms is provided with an extra couch.
The whole house is air conditioned and the outdoor swimming pool is heated.
Villa Benvenuti has private garden growing organic seasonal vegetable crops, which is available to the guests.
The Villa belongs to the same- named winery, which offers you a free wine tasting, tour through the cellar
and olive oil tasting from local producer.

Location description : Near Kaldir is situated Motovun, it is dominated with romanesque-gothic bell tower with a crenulated crown from the 13th century, standing next to the Parish Church of St. Stephen from the 17th century, dominates the town's historic core. In the central square is the Romanesque Municipal Palace, the largest secular building in Istria of that period surrounded by many other historic buildings. Motovun-Montona is the perfect venue for a large number of events, the most significant among them being the International Motovun Film Festival that takes place at the end of July where world-known film artists may be seen. Motovun is also interesting for ballooning lovers, its favourable microclimate enables flying in balloons all year round, so that Motovun-Montona hosts several ballooning events.Motovun Forest which stretches along the Mirna River valley is especially rich in truffles, the underground malodorous fungus believed to be an aphrodisiac. Istrian white truffles, whose season lasts from September to December are said to be as good as the finest Italian and French truffles.Motovoun is also very popular for Parenzana. Parenzana was a 123.1km long narrow-gauge railway line, connecting 33 places in Istria, from Trieste to Poreč. Today, Parenzana offers a new experience through a unique ride on a tourist train along the route of historical Parenzama and visiting magnificent places of central Istria with offer of native dishes and beverages.Opposite Motovun-Montona stands charming picturesque town of Oprtalj-Portole, as well as Livade, famous for the Days of Truffles held every year from September to November. Every year in Livade, also known as the World's truffle centre, a special festival is organized with a contest of choosing the largest truffle. theIn close vicinity is also Istarske toplice, thermal spa with curative water.
